Kelsie has worked in education for 12 years as both a middle school classroom teacher and a special education teacher. She has been passionate about working with students with behavior disorders since reading Ross W. Greene’s book Lost at School early in her undergraduate career. Kelsie graduated from Iowa State University and went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Teaching from Morningside College. She currently has education endorsements as a K-6 Classroom Teacher, K-8 Instructional Strategist I: Mild/Moderate Learning Disorders, K-8 Instructional Strategist II: Behavior Disorders/Learning Disorders, and K-8 Reading.

Kelsie and her husband Michael live in Spirit Lake, Iowa with their four daughters. She loves boating with her family, cuddling for movie nights, rowing, walking her dogs, and reading.
