Mariah has 6 years of experience in the field. She worked as an RBT and immediately fell in love with the field. She then made the decision to pursue her BCaBA certification and sat for the BCaBA exam in 2017. Mariah brings a diverse educational background to the field, with two separate Bachelor’s degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She recently also completed her Master’s of Special Education. She sat for the BCBA exam in 2021 and has been practicing BCBA for K-Now for 1 year.
As an ABA practitioner, Mariah has in-home experience as both a direct service provider and a supervisor with clients aged 18mo to 18y. She has experience with both in-person and telehealth services. Mariah has conducted training with community agencies, presented at the NMAEYC conference in New Mexico, has conducted hands-on training in school districts, and has collaborated with and trained staff across multiple rural school districts in eastern New Mexico.
Mariah is also a wife and a mother to two amazing children. She is very family oriented, as she also serves as a part-time caregiver for her grandparents. She enjoys time outdoors with her family and also enjoys reading in her spare time.
